I upgraded to a 8xl which is performing great....all temps are down......

You can buy one here on RC-Monster.

Great truck, Fore. I was thinking of running the same battery or maybe 2 2 cells at 6400mah in series to have even weight distribution when my ERevo RTR arrives.

Question: How could I run the same battery but not have it so prone to wheelie? Would moving up to a 10xl motor do it?

I have tried all of the suggested methods of keeping the front end down, (gearing up, installing a CD, and increasing punch control in the ESC settings), I have also put some lead fishing weight in the nose, this is fine if you arnt racing (I have used zip ties and shoe goo to install)
