Isn't the TRF501 discontinued? it was only going to be a limited run and was over priced.

I don't think so... maybe your talking about TRF 415,

TRF 501 is very succesful and it's design as been used in DB01 Durga design.

As far as i know B44 is not made in USA (unlike B4 and T4) but made in Taiwan which explain it's lower price.
