I actually have a crawler system I am not using if you want.

The way the novak is set up, there is no drag brake. You hit throttle and it will coast if the slant is steep enough. It hits the brakes at neutral, so there is no proportional brakes. This doesn't work well on steep slopes, as it will coast until you let off- then it slams on the brakes. Some people like it, some people don't.

Interesting, was wondering if you think the crawler esc would work with a 13.5 motor? It looks just like the xbr with a different programming/profile.

Nope it is a pair of maxamps 5000 cells that I had laying around. Figured if I killed them it was no big deal.

A Tamiya connector. I thought that was something I would never have to look at in one of your fine projects, but, whatever.

Sorry, I had not got around to changing it over to deans yet. No fear, it has a deans plug on it now!

Not only that, it's now the light of my life! From now on, whenever I feel down, I'll just think, deep down, that Lincpimp has a deans connector on his brushless CR-01, and then any inner ailment will fade away.....
