Oh, so everytime you want to program the BEC you have to un-solder the battery wires? Does this also work with the ESC then?

id imagine you would only have to unsolder one? glad to know (i just assumed that this was the case)

Unsolder what? I don't see a reason to unsolder anything.

If you want to program the bec unplug the bec from the receiver and plug it into the castle link. If you want to program the MMM, unplug the MMM from the receiver and plug it into the castle link. There won't be any confusion that way. Nothing will need to be de-soldered either. The receiver wire on the bec or MMM should not be connected to the receiver in any way when programming via castle link.

Have I missed something?
