With 10S and 12S, be prepared to stock up on drive train parts. You can go the cheap route on the ESC as you are using the mechanical brakes or you can go big $$$$ and get a HV car controller. Depending on you motor, you will have to watch the RPMs closely and just do speed runs. Don't use it for long runs, because you will fry a few things. Good quality lipos will also be a must.
