I had read that the original diffs were pretty weak, but that newer kits have an update that gives them a bit more strength from stripping and metal outdrives too.

There is a huge SB Pro thread over at rc-universe that talks about a lot of the diff issues - I think proper shimming is important on the Academy diffs.

absolutlly not. no. not gonna happen. u can use B4 spring in it and bolt i think but they dont hold up to a 15 turn brushed motor.
