The 2.5D is ok on 4s - that is how I'm running at the moment with I think 18/51.

I know it is a really bummer on the combo - I think I'd go for a single MMM now and then get a combo later...

What the performance and heat like? I have a 14t and a 18T pinion I could run it with. I do have the 46T buggy spur btw, so equal gearing to you would be 16T.

I have the 8XL geared 12/46. Temps on both have been ok so far, but I wouldn't gear any higher. Good spd too, just pizza cutters in the F if I hammer it. May have to go up from the 10K in the center.
