If you torque them right they will never need it, it just makes a mess if you ask me.

Metal to metal - I always loctite. Vibration will loosen just about anything unless you damp the higher order harmonics - add weight anyone?
Oil or grease will prevent loctitie from developing strength, so I use motor spray to clean threaded part before loctiting. |
