Definitely Deans - only time I've had a problem with them is when I applied heat for too long and it caused the plastic to get soft and the blade shifted position a bit. Solution - use a hot iron and solder quickly.

Actually the best thing to do is use an extra plug an put the pair together, then solder which ever one you need. The other plug will hold the blades in place where they need to be.

Neat idea - I'll try that next time. Also a bit more copper in play to disapate the heat from soldering.
