Two things you have to watch for is gear diameter and ratio.
Your existing 48p setup is: Diameter of 86T = 46.57mm Diameter of 18T = 10.58mm Ratio = 4.778:1 Now you need to find the 32p spur with the about the same diameter. For 46.57mm, that is around 56T. Then, to get the same ratio, you need an 11T or 12T pinion. |
