OKgive it a try today for the first time, and the brake is very good, i can flip the truck on it's lid just with a little hit on the brake.

This e-revo is super smooth, and it's the first time that i run a 6s setup, it's fantastic!!
The truck is quiet, the suspension is realy well tune, i realy like it.

OK somes news on the MGM brake.

The brake on this controller is a piece of scrape

I'am not able to have a linear braking. Some times, when i touch the brake just a little bit, the controller lock the wheel immediatly and the back of my truck raise in the air and fall on it's lid, and other time, when i touch the brake, the controller start to give full trottle

The rest of the controller run very good, it's smooth, it run cool, but the brake is a dump

I've try to upgrade to the 3.23 software, but the controller seam to not want to load it, i've try twice to download it, and both time, the download process was succesfull, but when i connect the controller to change somes parameters, the version is still the 3.21. I've try to run an autotuning, but don't change anything.

As soon as the MMM v2 will be in stock, i'll buy it for sure.

I can't understand why a $300.00 ++ controller can't have a progresive brake in it. And i can't understand why it give trottle when i touching brake. I've try to reinitialise the end point on it (full trottle, wait for 3 bips, full brake wait for 1 bip and neutral wait for 2 bips), but nothing to do.

I don't know if you can immagine, but when i run at WOT, and i try to give a little brake, and the controller decided to lock the rotor..... ouch!!!!1 the drive train
And on other side, when i'am near an obstacle and i want to brake and the controller give full trottle, same thing, ouch!! the front a-arm

A fellow RCer sent me an e-mail asking about an issue he was having with his MGM. I was kind of thinking and got my MGM8012 and tried my JR R-1 with Spektrum to see if that was the problem. Well it was. MGM seems to have difficulties with 2.4ghz radios. My Airtronics M8 (FM btw ) works fine with the MGM8012.

Maybe... I'll try to find somebody here who have a standard FM radio and try it.
If all goes fine with FM radio, i'll run with that and keep my Futaba 2.4 for my baja.

This is the e-mail the sent from MGM to the fellow RCer:

"some of 2,4 GHz RC equipments use "HRS" modulation. Older controllers donīt know this modulation, checking signal from receiver, and no working.

-Please, try again programming min., max. and neutral throttle position. When controller will donīt work aftter this, necessary is send your ESC to upgarde SW to us. Newest ESC working with these RC equipments without problem."

Keep trying to get the new firmware loaded to your ESC. The issue might have been fixed.

I've send my controller to MGM last winter for the SW upgrade. Now i've try to run it in HRS mode and in normal PP mode, and nothing to do.

I don't know why i've the succesfull message when i download the 3.23 SW and as soon as i return on the controler framework to read data, it's always the older 3.21 version is shown
