Not really fair though as a 2wd 1/10th controller designed for 3s is being used happily on 5s on 4wd 1/8 truggies with only a bec, fan and maybe an extra cap... :)

Nice though:

4-6s 35v 1800uf TransCap - 17.59

And, an external BEC---kind of a do-it-yourself set up...

We recommend adding a transcap module to any (non-Novak) controller that requires power caps after carefully removing the burnt-out, built-in caps from the esc. It's generally much easier for users to replace the external caps than the ones soldered to the PCB. This way they don't have to return the item for service.

The 4s-6s module can be added on any controller, even those using fewer lipos.
