Aaack! Don't drill without taking it apart! There are two screws that hold the ESC to the case. Take them out and drill your holes....I will look for a pic.
 This is from a buggy I no longer have, but a good example. I like to put the fan opposite the caps so the air blows through the case and over the heatsink. |
