Rule no1 with BL the maxx power the motor can deliver is the power that the batteries can deliver minus the losses.. a normal 18 pack (good cells) are able to pop out 1800 watts as well, though the 18cell packs weight more... and it seems that lipoly's are the best when it comes to HUGE current peaks..
