Word of advice to anyone, DON'T BUY FROM FINE DESIGNS as I had a $50USD charge to my creditcard on the 20th August which I found last night checking my statement online & I haven't bought anything from them in over 2mths. 31st May to be exact.
Contacted my bank & reported it & they're going to investigate it.

He's a thieving lying bastard!!! I ordered 6 Mamba Monsters from him in May & he keeps telling me that they haven't arrived from CC, yet on his website it shows he has them in stock!!
I didn't know he stole money from people, but i did know that he lies about alot of stuff, kaz the minotaur told me exactly what he was lying about, but i forget the exact details, he paints motors differently and sells them for alot more money.

The neu motors are probably the best around, what your looking for can probobly be found here: http://www.castlecreations.com/produ...motors/nm.html they are hand made.

So far in a week I've blown the seals on two F shocks, snapped a shaft at the end on the F, and bent a rear shaft. WTF. The shocks are so big they could be on my 1:1 car, yet I've never had this much trouble with any shocks. Also, the steering is freaking sloppy. I've replaced the turnbuckles and drag link already, was good for a day, and is already getting sloppy again...
I haven't had any problems with my shocks, but I had a ton of trouble with my steering link, I had alot of resistance coming from it. here's what i did: http://hdrcvideos.com/forums/viewtop...111826#p111826

and this could help solve your shock problem maybe? http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...rodID=LOSB2822

I'll have to take a look at it later. The str link does suck. The one I bought came w/ a NIB spare, and its already loose again. Not to mention crappy imperial hardware. WTF, who uses this anymore? The worst is the hexes are always smaller then metrics as well, so they seem that much easier to strip. Oh well.

Thanks for the link, but its not the shock body. The rod end that snapped off was a stocker, and the other problems were with the massive Integy piggyback shocks that came on it. On the stocker I've read this is a common problem I guess, and people were swithcing to the longer LST shafts so the shock doesn't bottom out so hard.
The previous owner must have put really heavy shock oil in the integy's, as its very stiff. Couple medium jumps and the front shocks blew out the bottom seals blowing oil all over the front, and one of teh rear shocks bend its shaft, which is crazy as its 5mm thick. I should've changed the oil, but I didn't have the 1 gal of oil to redo those big suckers and ran it anyway. Oh well. That's a $10 mistake.

What shocks and springs are you all using? The blk stock springs seem a bit light for such a heavy truck, and its still only nitro still. The integy shocks use a much heavier spring. I was thinking of just selling the integy's off for a decent $, but I may keep them if I decide to keep the truck. Parts of it I really like, but the str suckage, shocks breaking, and the imperial screws are already pissing me off a bit. I want a huge MT to bash w/, but one also tough and easy to work on. If this doesn't work out I may go w/ something else. Maybe a savage XL or something, IDK.

I use the stock plastic bodies and the stock muggy shafts, the longer shafts can break because they slam into the shock cap when it bottoms out, and i haven't had any problems with the seals, i use 30wt oil in the front and 25wt in the back and black 6.0 springs and it runs great. The problems you are having could be caused by the integy shocks because they are longer and are made for the LST2 which uses longer shocks, so the shocks will bottom out before the truck does.
