If you go with the CRT.5, you won't be disappointed. Yeah, it's smaller, but has the same benefits that 8th scale truggies do as far as ease to work on, the platform, 4WD, tunable diffs, etc. It takes 2.2" wheels/tires, so that's not a problem. And it uses 8th scale spec diffs (just a shorter diff cup). What I like about it is that if you use 3s/~3300 60mm long motor/MM ESC/BEC, it'll run all day long and you won't have to worry so much about the lipo C rating. It really is a durable truck and fun to drive. On the track, I dunno. I still have fun with it (it basically jumps itself it's that easy), but some may want a longer wheelbase, which is available.
