Those temps are fine. If you have a 5s lipo, try that. I'm running a 600xl with Neu windings, and I have temps around 140 with the 5s. Contact MTXMUGEN on here or aim (same name) and he can rewind it for you. The windings on the Align hybrid motors are not top quality, to say the least. I'm not sure how much he'll charge you to get it rewound, I bought mine rewound and brand new.

Thanks for the info! I had no idea really, I am so new to this brushless stuff, and I have read posts on here and seen videos on youtube where people are running 6S and their motors stay like just above room temp, so I thought that maybe my setup was running way too hot.

And I talk to MTXMUGEN on AIM, I may have him re-wind my 600XL sometime soon.

Just curious though, but would some kind of "ram air" setup work at all?
