What about a mamba or sidewinder, you have an esc right or do you have to return the whole thing?

I'm hoping that i can just return the motor, cuz if i return the whole thing then i know i won't get another working esc

i called today, and i put the phone up to the motor and made it go, and i think that it was because i did that that he didn't make me send it back.

so now that i have this dead combo, i didn't just chuck it or something...

i tried to replace the gimpy 14 gauge wire with 12 gauge, but 12 gauge didn't fit in the wholes, but i thought this was too cool to not take it apart... here's the ESC:




and here's the rotor, it looks kind of cheesy compared to similar novak and castle rotors, instead of the magnet spanning the entire shaft, they put in spacers, and it wasn't cracked, i'm guessing that the can was falling in on the rotor pulled by magnetic force:
