I believe that this year event will have RC magazine coverage as well, so it should be some great exposure for this segment of the RC world.
Any info on this coverage? Does anyone have the results? I'd like to know how I finished in the mud bath Finally got my revo all shiny again, about an hour worth of cleaning.
So here is the first vid, and the funniest. Its the MT main (mixed BL vs Nitro) and there is just mayhem until the field gets spread out some. Needless to say BL takes the day:
I'll get more as I can, but it will take some time. :)
Well I finally got to check the results and for a first timer I think I did pretty good! 3rd in first qualifier, 6th in second qualifier, and in the main with 2 unscheduled shut downs due to my switch getting turned off on the MMM and a battery falling out ( thanks for putting it back in Luciano) I finished 7th. That was actually last of those that finished but at least I did! If I hadn't had those 3 incidentsI think 5th or possibly 4th could have been possible. Anyways looking forward to the next one!

I was going to have you down faster, but I had trouble putting the pack in. I hope they change the track layout for next year.
I bet it was an awesome time though getting those trucks that muddy. A question for you though... how do you go about cleaning the truck after a muddy run like that? Do you take it apart piece by piece? I ask because I know one of my trucks will eventually become that muddy. But for now always running in SoCal, all there is is dust and sand, so an air compressor will make the car look practically new.
My E-REVO was at least as bad as Arct1k's! I took the motor and esc off, they where just about spotless anyways, then got out the garden hose!!! After hosing it off, I shook off the excess and sprayed it down with WD-40. After sitting for a couple hours the WD soaked in and everything looked like new! Next time I will spray it down with WD-40 first!
