ok that answers that cheers mate

but what if you have a 14.8 v 100 amp esc
and run a
14.8 v 25c 5000mah lipo

5amp x 25 = 125amps and thats without bursts of 30c

would this hurt the esc as the esc is only 100 amp

it depends on what the motor is asking for.....if the motor is asking for as lot of amps that is whats going to happen..this will happen especially with a lower turn motor

when you say lower turn motor do you mean a lower kv rating

will a lower kv draw more power than a higher kv

no its the opposite...lower turn = higher KV...and a higher turn motor will draw more amps, there is less wire in the winding so there is less resistance for the electricity to turn the rotor
