I originally quoted the Velocity/SS Pro price, not the HV.

Winding special motors requires a lot of hand-holding and testing.

I can send you my HV and you can do all of that with it. How does that sound?

We wouldn't need your motor, we would just start from scratch and wind a new stator to order. If you want to return your existing motor, we can replace/exchange it according to our service options program.

Ok, but I need to be 100% sure Novak can do the HV1.5 and if Novak can, what do I need to do to send my motor back? Do I need to send a special note saying, "Crazy guy wants a HV1.5 for a crazy job".

Edit: Would 0.5 a turn be possible? What would be the Kv for it? Can the rotor be wrapped in Kevlar to withstand the high RPMs?

We can't do a 1.5T motor. It would probably require a wire gauge that we do not stock. We could do a 2.5T.

You can PM me your contact information, and CC number (which will not be billed until we ship.) Once we have this info, I can create an order for your motor. I'll check with Steve to see @ how long it would take.

Unless you also want to exchange your HV motor for one of our standard RMF HV winds, you do not need to send it back.

We can only check the kv after we do the wind. The HV rotor is sintered---the same high temperature, rare earth materials we use in our tuning rotors. Wrapping the rotors in Kevlar and epoxy-coating them is a time-consuming mess--so no wrapping.

Steve said it would take a week, or so.
