Plastic shock tower is not necessarly a bad thing, almost all 1/10 use plastic (fiber loaded) or graphite shock tower. I prefer good plastic than cheap aluminium.
Check price off a shock tower in 1/8, price goes from 30 $ to 70 $ ... A RC10 T4 shock tower i sold around 10 $

Funny I have just seen a hyper 8 under 300 $...

i meant a running xray (motor, pipe etc...)

also ud probably get a charger included too, for a full starting setup.
