Yeah but the lst/muggy etc diffs only have 4 spider gears. I have some of those heavy duty cups for them, same cups for 8 & 8T, (Ill send one with your traxxas center diff) to check out, Its alot nicer than the stock cups.

Thanks Jay, I will have to check out the heavy duty cup. Would make a good alternative for the rear diff, as that one seems to take more abuse than the front.

I just finished up the bpp torpedo chassis and used a plastic case std diff in the front, and a al case std diff in the back. Both are shimmed properly, and it seems like a nice setup. The std lst gear sets are lower ratio than the maxx so a larger pinion will be required. I figured that I would try the "weakest" lst diff setup in this truck and see how they do.

What setup are you planning? I can see lutach's ESC, kind of hard to miss.

8s lipo, via a pair of 4s 3700 fp packs. Aveox 36/38/2 motor (1100kv or so). I also have a mega motor that would work nicely that I may try out. I need to pick out some tires out of the collection, but am leaning towards a set of 40 series wheels with bowties...

I have a hitec 5997 servo and will run spektrum via the m8...

It is identical to a 1515 2y. All of aveox motors are y winds. And the numbers represent the outside dimensions of the can, where the neu specs are the rotor... Same construction in both motors.
