Drift_Buggy did the mount you have your MMM on come with the kit? Any problems with clearance when the body it on? I need to come up with something different for my 8ight. The body sits right on top of the fan I have on my mm. From the first picture in your thread it doesn't look to have too much of a bend more like an angle down towards the chassis. Is that right? Thanks.

Yeah, the top plate comes with the RCPD kit. It can be bought seperate aswell. I'll have to check if it does clear the body when I get home. Can't remember if it does or doesn't as the race roller body came precut so there is a hole there for the nitro engine.

I used my dremel tool and cut that 'esc stand' stand down basically in half. I used the current wire routing notches as the new height and trimmed it all the way around at that height. Then I made a few more custom notches on my lowered plate and also flattened the three screw downs for the personal transponder on the bottom side and I just used some 3m heavy duty two-way tape to hold the transponder in place. PERFECT FIT!

Sorry I took so long to reply. By the looks of it the cornor of the fan cover will just hit the body but the instruction manual for the esc kit said you can bend the plate down more to clear the body.
