The outdrive gears have very shallow teeth, so it's easy to strip them if you accidentally spin out a few times. I simply placed very thin (.1mm) shims on the outdrives, then pressed the gears on to get the mesh ever so slightly tighter.

Drivetrain handles it just fine. I'm geared with a 15 tooth pinion and the stock spur; the car is probably only doing a modest 35-40mph, but it's a squirrely little bugger. I can't even imagine it at 60+!
Ok, so I wouldn't get the 62MPH with a 4S, and the Sidewinder can only handle 3S, so I have to change the gearing or buy another motor.
Which NEU motor would be good for 2S/3S, and I would get the 62MPH?

Thanks!

I never said you wouldn't get 62 on 4s. I'm geared conservatively so that my motor will run all day without breaking a sweat (doesn't crack 140F on a hot summer day and no cooling holes in the body).

It's a bad idea to get a mini going that fast unless you have a good, high downforce body and a few wings placed in proper areas...
