I got my MM so cheap because I got a free "fried" one that I sent in.
So you sent in a fried one you got for free from somebody and CC replaced it with a new one and now you're complaining that you have to pay for the broken motor?

I have been useing a very hi tech solution to keep the dirt out of my Medusa motor all summer. I works very well & keeps the inside of the motor very clean. It's called scotch tape over the holes.

Can't the dirt still work it's way in there? I'm using an RC-M heatsink clamp (probably use some aluminum foil between the motor and transmission) and a trimmed washer on mine. I E-Mailed Medusa and they suggested covering the holes when using it offroad.
You definitely get what you paid for, Neus are certainly worth the money. I haven't gotten my Medusa running (MM had some issues with it we couldn't work out over E-Mails so I sent it back to CC) but I have looked it over thoroughly and the initial quality is impressive.

I also have a neu with the RCM covers on it & it actually gets more dirt in it than the Medusa with the wide tape over the ends. I peel it off once in a while & blow it out with air & less comes out than out of the Neu. The Medusa is holding up well & has many hours on it. I think neu's are the best but for the money I have no complaints about the Medusa & it is lighter than the Nue. Where you at in Montana?

ok, ok I get it, there awsome motors, but I just don't need something with that amount of power, yet.....
thats why you turn the puch and timing down (or up) to tone it down..
first off, I;'m a teen making $500 a month with $100 going towards a car payment, $100+ going to insurence, and $200 going to savings, I don't have much mony left for RC, other wise, I would allready have the motor on its way here.

OK, sounds good. I forgot completely about brushed motor running open, just gotta spray them out every couple of runs and they're good. I live about 8 miles south of Bozeman.
