Thanks again for the info. Have you tried the mod 1 gears? I know there probably not much difference between them other than their mod size. The pinion issue still bothers me because the grub screw is at the end of the motor shaft. I know you have a different motor but did you have do turn your pinion around too to get the pinion and spur to line up?

I am not sure if I had to turn the pinion around. I do not have the truck here so I am going of my poor memory. I am running mod1 gearing, with modded MGT spurs. I think my mod 1 pinions fit with the grub screw on the motor side, but it was a tight fit. It should be fine as long as you have enough of the shaft available to tighten the grub screw onto.

I forgot to mention I also was looking at the medusa mr036-60-2000v2-5 motor as well would the mm work with that as well. Thanks again. questions, questions, questions. makes us all a little wiser.
