anyone see the proline Baja 5b truck conversion?

yup. i was one of the first to see it at the off-road expo in pomona. its just the buggy with a roll cage and different body and tires. but it looks really sweet. i also saw the teamassociated SC8. i was not very impressed but i hope it handles better than the slayer. and it has the best look roll cage ever!

by watching RCCA's sc8 video- it looks like it handles leaps and bounds better

Yes, and I think that is my new favorite r/c thing out there... it simply looks AWESOME!!!!

But I still probably won't get one because of the cost and too many projects already for me.

This thing is impressive in person... seems TWICE as big as the buggy...
