No prob, I have plenty of experience with high speed r/c. Suspension setup is very important for speed runs. So is tire choice. Some "throttle modulation" is important.

All that said, my 10th scale speed car was setup well enough that I could open it up fully from a stand still and it would track perfectly straight and leave 3-4ft foam tire burnout marks. I only had room to get it to 74mph before having to get on the brakes...

Do you have any pics of your build lincpimp? I have the electronics (1521 and mmm) just looking for a truck to put them in for bashing.. I have been looking for a muggy but just haven't pull the trigger.. Will a revo hold up with the hybrid diffs?

I originally bought the motor to go in my lst. I have the al diff cups and tin coated gears in that truck, so the drivetrain is about as strong as they come. I think the revo drivetrain will survive with the hybid diffs. I have had great success with the new emaxx drivetrain and the plett maxx on 4s. It is not as powerful but still gives everything a workout. I will not bash this revo very hard, just plan to do some speed runs with it. I will most likely swap the motor into the lst and put the hacker c50 11xl in the revo. Still going to run it on 6s though... I am sure the hacker will easily get the revo past 70mph, but the 1521 looks more impressive.

I think it will be...

Well, I got some work sone on the old nitro revo that I will be using, stripped it almost all the way down in prep for some serious cleaning. I hate to say this, but I did not clean this truck when I got it used, just slapped the tekno kit in and beat the snot out of it...

So it is a bit nasty, at least two owners of crud and grime... All the plastic will get a good soak and scrub, and i will go thru all of the bearings. May take a few days so sit tight!

That Revo is going to need some work to reliably handle that power. I'd convert to 8mm centers and wheel shafts with the Truggy diffs and the Tekno RC 8mm shaft/17mm hex conversion. The LST2/Muggy will handle the power better, but this is sure a good way to shut down the V-Twin users. My 1515 beat my Revo into the ground (which is why I sold it and bought a Muggy, far superior drivetrain).

All I ever wanted was an honest weeks pay for an honest days work.

I think a truggy would be more suited to this motor= more durable.

HAHA. I am sure that someone on the traxxas forum has graphs of a single vxl getting close to that, most likely using maxamps lipos too.

I have a muggy roller sitting around. And my aftershock may get to try this motor out too. Problem is that now I am on a crawler kick now. I will be back to MT soon. My r/c interest seem to go in cycles...

Don't see why not. Good too because it's one heavy mofo of a truggy.
