Bah, I thought a "real" brushless E-revo . If I were you, I'd rather get a Neu motor or if money is an issue, get a Medusa.

Predator with OS .21TM
Supermaxx with Mach .26
Revo with OS .18TZ
Kyosho ST-RR Conversion
Ofna CR with Tekin ESC/Motor (2)
If best bang for the money is your real goal, then find one of the new brushless Revo's on a pre-order basis for around 700. Someone posted a link to one or more in that price range.
You will still need the batteries and charger, though.
If you want the uniqueness of having a converted rig, then you are on the right track. Might want a little more motor, like George suggested. You can get your lipos a little cheaper than that by buying some of the NeuEnergy;s that they have on sale, or with some of the Zippy's.

I also have to add that I'm not a fan of that conversion kit. Looks pretty low budget to me, and not well thought out. Look at where they have the ESC - its subject to damage there. And the MMM has a little bigger foot print than the HV does (which they have in the picture), so I'd be very nervous about it sitting there overhanging like that.
From what I've read, the Tekno kit is one of the better conversion kits avialable. A-Main is having a 10% sale this month - so you can get a little off of it from them.

The eagle eye conversion kit is not bad. I prefer the motor mount to the other options, but the tekno battery tray and esc mount are better. I use the eagle eye motor mount in my slayer, with the tekno battery tray and a home-made esc mount. I have beated it quite a bit and the mont is fine. Plus it is lower cg than most other mounts.
