IMO tats are stupid and a wast of money, but if you have to get one just remember that this could happen:

That would have got me locked up for life. How is that butcher still alive. You could have knee capped him al least. If you gat a tat be sure it is what you want. Check the artist out. DO NOT JUST GO BY THE PICS IN THE SHOP. They will be the ones he wants you to see. Try to find someone with a lot of good work walking around. If there is any local tattoo shows check them out. If you see someone with a nice tat ask where they got it. Trust me they will be cool about it. Most of us are proud of our ink! DO NOT ASK FOR A DEAL. You get what you pay for. Most good artists seem expensive. $80.00hr. is ballpark here. Do your homework, be sure it is what you want! Sorry for the rant.

lol. And does the tat have a tat on it's back of itself? The taller than you part sounds tricky.

I thought (and still do) about getting one; an armband of my son's name, except each letter would be encoded as an 8 bit binary string forming the name. It would be curvy so it looks like some odd tribal thing from a distance. But I HATE needles! I can't even be in the same room when my son gets his shots. And when I need a shot, I have to really prepare.
