I tend to over-engineer my stuff to just like what I did to Lutach's ESC on my gmaxx. I soldered additional caps and put a 3mm aluminum backing plate to prevent flex.


Castle Neu 1520 on 6S LiPo Powered Gmaxx (Nitro Killer)
Predator with OS .21TM
Supermaxx with Mach .26
Revo with OS .18TZ
Kyosho ST-RR Conversion
Ofna CR with Tekin ESC/Motor (2)

Better to fix a potential problem than have a damaged item. You may not need to do anything but time spent is usually not wasted. Plus after tinkering with something you generally end up with a better understanding of what is going on. Kind of like have sex with the lights on...
