I have a feeling it will be more powerful. 550 motors are good for about 250 watts maxx each. The dewalt is said to be able to do 1.5hp. Not sure if it will do that on 4s, but I have a feeling it will beat 500 watts easily, and make more torque too.

The rear tranny is just to hold the lower shaft. It does not have any gears or internals. I plan to cut the top off the tranny, just above the mount area, and place a flat plate over it to seal it up.

To make this creation crawl better I will have all of the equipment on the front chassis. Only the rear servo will be on the back. With the lipos on the rear chassis it does not like to climb and break-over ledges as well as I would like. Shifting the weight to the front should help, but I doubt it will wheely...
