I am going to disagree with Tempted that Quarks are one of the most reliable. Alot of people have reported that they tend to go Super Nova. The MMM V3 is a good choice. The MGM controllers are also very reliable albeit pricey. I like the 1y for bashing.

These are great but pricey and if I remember correctly it is very hard to get warranty issues resolved. I don't own a Quark but from what I understand the Monster Pro is a nice piece. But once again I believe it is very hard to have a warranty claim solved. My only personal experience are with the usual MM, MMM, V-Twin and Associated(small) systems. The MM seems to be the more reliable of the bunch, the V-Twin the best bang for the buck and the MMM(only V1 and V2) the worst in terms of reliability. The LRP systems are too small for a Maxx but awsome in a buggy and ST.

Edit- Any good, solid info on the large scale Losi system yet?

The answer is no. And yes, mine is faster.

I got my EMaxx today, hopped it up with RPM Rear True Track suspension, RMP front arms and Big Bore aluminum shocks. I have decided on MMM v3 w/ NEU 1515 1.5d on NEU 4s. I will be using two NEU 4s 5000 mah in a parallel configuration, so 10,000 mah!

You guys know if there is a single servo configuration for EMaxx? I got two spare Hitech 5995tg to use if I have to stick with the dual, just think 700 oz of torque is a bit of an overkill!

I should be getting my motor and motor plates tomorrow, so cant wait to see it in action.

Responding to Losi Xcelerion 8th scale. They are ok, but my buddies have only used it in Losi 8ight scale buggies and truggies. They have random dead ESC/motors, but the good thing is Losi is down the street so its a just a matter of giving them the car and getting new ESC/Motor within a few minutes.

14 months and 22 cars and 2 helis later.....

The 1.5d works fine for me in the erevo. You choice of the 2 5000 packs in parallel sounds like a good idea. My truck geared for 43mph pull a set of trakpower lipos hard, and I have a pair of 3700 4s packs to run in parallel. Should help with the amp draw.

I've been involved in the discussion before on 2 packs in parallel vs a single pack. From what I learned in those, there is really no benefit in running both packs. Wouldn't a single Neu provide enough amperage for this set up, and be a lighter load?

Losi 8T 1.0, Savage Flux - XL style, LST XXL, Muggy, 3.3 E-Revo Conversion and sitting outside 425hp, 831 Tq Dodge Ram Turbo Diesel. It SMOKES

Its just harder to get the weight distribution right on and E-Maxx with one pack. I tubbed the back of my 3906 chassis to run a single pack, but I don't believe you can do that with the 3905 unless you get really creative.

When I spoke with CC about it, they saying have two packs in parallel will put less of a load on each pack which will result in better performance and reliability.

...which is the problem with MGM, being in Europe, when warranty work is needed it can be a bitch.

You should be able to just ditch the second servo and accompanying hardware. I'm pretty sure you can run a single servo on the stock pieces. Overkill? What does that mean? I say put two of those servos on for steering and then option for the 2 speed and use one more there!(sarcasm)
