9000kv...dont understand why cc built this motor
a 6900kv or a 7700kv correctly geared is enough...

They built it because they could I reckon.
I agree that something around 3k kv would be more useful.

I think that motors with large KV like this are made for 1/12 scale since they only run on like 4 - 5 cell Nimh
