The vxl motors have shorter windings and magnets than a s can feigao, so I would call them petite motors...

For his setup of 2s lipo the higher kv would be better. And gearing options are limited to 22t max on the pinion before you have to buy more expensive pinions. I would personally use 2 sidewinders and the cc 5700 motors. Especially the new design of the motors. Or a pair of 50mm medusa v2 motors.

Not going to get enough motor speed out of L cans, and the gearing will be difficult to achieve with only 2s on each motor.
