Yeah, but I was broke when I built it. Couldn't afford the wheels. So I just cut and smoothed these. I also shaved the insides of the wheels to lose even more weight. I went as far as cutting the driveshafts down to lighten the rotating mass. This was an unbelievably light truck. I used 3.3 driveshafts and 3906 axle carriers. This saved weight after I modified the carriers and it also let me use only one bearing per wheel. The tranny got all the lightweight stuff and there was no metal anywhere on it. It was the most durable truck I have ever owned. I thought I would build a V-Twin along the same lines as the single VXL truck and it was a nightmare. Way too fast, way too light and way too fragile. I twisted the light weight output shaft into a pretzel in no time. The 3.3 shafts break every run and the truck can't handle the speed so it breaks every time I ring it out. Here is a video.

The answer is no. And yes, mine is faster.
