Eeek that is a shame - I has a few dealings with him last year and early this as was treated really well - Upgraded my eos 5i AC/DC to 6i AC/DC for $10 and got some great deals.

It seemed to go south at some point during the summer... Looks like I dodged a bullet on this one. One lesson is always use a CC even with PP on a major purchase - If PP won't help you out normally your CC will still help.

I wrote a lengthy e-mail to the new bpp on your behalf, they forwarded it to troy and he has e-mailed me asking for your name and order number. He has been making it right for people that make some noise, so give me your name and order number, I think I may have resolved this for you!

I dont quite get how the new owners arent responsible for orders placed prior to them purchasing the business from Troy? You placed the order with the business.... Not Troy personally. They now own that business and all of its commitments and responsisbilities. Unless the old BPP just went under and closed its doors, the new "owners" sould be following thru with any orders that were taken by the business. Just as they should be following thru on collecting any outstanding debts owed to the business.

The fact that they are passing the buck back and forth and saying the "old owner" is responsible is BS in my opinion. You prurchased it from the business and the business should follow thru with it commitments. If the new owners screwed up and didnt do their research and find out how much was owed in back orders to customers that already paid for products is not the customers fault. Its the new owners mistake for not doing it.

If BPP continues to "pass the buck" I would start filing complaints with the Better Business Buerau. That should light a fire under the new owers but to get this junk figured out.

I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...

All the info was sent. It sounds like he will make good on this. Let's all remember how great BPP was before Troy fell on hard times. They were known as a place with good prices and excellent customer service, all managed by one man. When that one man was down there was nobody there to pick up the pieces of his business. Let's all hope for the best.

He operated the business as a sole proprietorship, so all that was sold was the name, all prior business, including ordering information, past due orders and outstanding debts are solely Troy's.
