Yeah, I did that for about 3 months when I was in my 20's. Bought a 1200 bike to keep up with my buds, then I figured out real fast that I preferred something with more power than I had in my body. Sold it for 400. Kind of the same R.O.I. as RC's

RC has had a big influence in my life.I lost my drivers lisense 8 years ago.Yea I had a bad drinking habit plus pills.I had allways had a classic car project but whats the point if you cant drive.Rc satisfied that loss.If I saved all the money I have spent over the past 7 years I could have had a bought a new car.I now have my lisense. My wife has also supported my RC habit but at times I push the envelope.Yes and have had no alcohol for 7 years.I live in a small town in Iowa 60 miles from Des Moines so I realy dont have a local hobby shop.I consider all you guys my LHS.I am in the habit of building blinged out RCs and selling them on p-bay when I binge a new RC project. Also with all the crap that I had during that terrible time I quit my job as a Sous Chef at a posh Country Club.No way to get to work.120 miles round trip.I ended up getting a entry level job as a Roof Truss Manufacturing company 1 mile from my house.I am now the shop superviser and life is good. What a bunch of mushhhhh.

Thanks

Will

Seems like a good medical experiment hooking some of us up to brain diodes and suction things that may explain some seritonan (sp?) or endorfin (sp?) levels that lead us to why when we quit booze we want lots and lots of RCs LOL. Who needs rehab at $25k a month. $500 emaxx or 8T and you're cured. Send payment to DrJay@comcast.net

Oh yeah. That happened a lot back there when the bases were still around. My local friends used to know a lot of those marines on a first name basis .

Okay I might have a problem. This year I cut back and got rid of my 8th scale brushless stuff. Sold my losi 8 and 8t along with all the electronics. Also sold a xxx-t mf2 and my b44.

The thing is since doing that I have replaced them with an rb5, zx-5, t4, slash and an erevo. Then its the electronics itself. I got rid of my helios to get the dx3r now I am selling that because I got an m11. Not to meantion new esc's, motors, servo's.

I never thought I had a problem but with a new house, and a kid its a little different now.

So basically I think the problem is I need a raise. :) The problem can't be rc because its my way of releasing stress and getting away from everything else even if its only for 1 night a week, when I get to go to the track.

I think it's legal in Arizona. That's where my friends used ot go to when we were still stationed in San Diego.

Anyway, I just watch a cockfight when we were in the Philippines. However, they won't let me have my camera inside the arena. And you're right Luciano, the picture don't have those razor-sharp metal spurs.

The metal spur were only used for big money fights and if the owners of the cocks would agree to it. Many places don't allow cameras mainly because of the cruelty level. I think it's illegal in Brasil now.
