update. got the tray... but it is the wrong size. i can only fit the battery up and not sideways laying down.

but here are some more pics as of right now. i did the best job cleaning up from my run just now. but its still dirty. he still needs a good bath.

check out the tires. this is after 1 run. compare the back to the front.
2 things.. they are now unusable in the grass or dirt and they are not aligned properly

my springs need to come in more cause i am hitting the ol 3 wheel motion around turns.

back set up

front set up

doh!

you can do what dickyt and I both did to our trays;

cut the side off....but beware, it does weaken the integrity of the tray itself.

I think dickyt ended up cracking the front off of his in a crash....probably wouldnt have happened if he didnt cut the side off....

...its still useable tho!

Well now I blew my 8xl and ordered a new medusa. So I got a few weeks to toy around. Might buy myself a body and wheels to get started on. Battery tray I will be ok with.

I blew the front wall out of mine with both sides still on it. It was a real quick stop aided by a tree in 30*F weather. I just flipped it around and re-mounted it.
