I see I'm not the only one who likes those upper-decks. They really stiffen things up to help prevent flexing at all. Maybe still some torsion flex, but not nearly as much as f/r flex.
That deck should help stripping the spurs, but I would maybe add an extra plate that goes under the motor mount and CD area so stiffen it a bit more. Since the motor mount and CD mounts are not on the same "plane" ANY flexing will eat spurs. Probably why Mike's mounts are so popular... Nice body on that! |
