1527 1D is a 2300kv motor, you shouldnt be running it on anything more than 4s lipo. For 6s lipo a 1527 1.5D would be more than enough, though a 1521 1Y would be great also. Getting the setup correct (motor/Kv/voltage/esc) is critical- boat and plane escs arent designed to handle the high current surges from a standstill or when you punch the throttle whilst moving- MGM would be much more suitable, though the MMM can handle the 1521 and 1527 also it seems...
