FWIW: the DSM1 vs DSM2 isn't really noticeable unless you are really looking for every microsecond of response time. For racing, it can help (although I never noticed it), but for bashing, it's not needed IMO.

Despite the fact I have the DX3r, I'm only using one DSM2 rx, the rest of my vehicles use a regular spek rx because of price and availability locally.

The telemetry in the S would be nice, but as long as the setup is done right and temps are monitered for the first few runs to verify, a temp sensor is extra fluff. And rpm sensor is good for what? To measure speed? That's what a GPS/radar is for (and more accurate because of tire balooning). I suppose rx/system battery voltage monitor would be nice, but not sure if it has that.
