I am not positive but I believe the GTP to have more ground clearance. I have seen videos that would lead me believe the GTP sets up a bit higher. The suspension on the GTP appears to function very similar to a buggy and can see it travel quite a bit. The DM-1 cars have less travel and appear to handle a little closer to a 1/10th on-road.
