I should clarify, The easiest way to use Mikes LS10 Motor Mount on the HB buggy is to use the stock LS10 center diff mount. The reason the diff mounts are different height is that the buggy uses a much smaller spur gear than the truck. You can also uses shims/spacers to raise the height of the buggy stock diff mount to work with the RCM mount but the stock LS10 mounts are cheap, the exact height, and don't require any additional work.
He's right, I got his old ls10. If you need the manuals to compare parts. You will need to use the Hot Bodies site in Europe to download the buggy manual. It is not on the one they have in the USA.

What about original Lightning and Lightning 2 buggies - 02.20.2009, 03:12 PM

I have an original Lightning buggy or maybe a Lightning 2 (not sure, I traded for it). The Lightning 2 parts seem to fit, so far.

So should I buy the RCM lightning truggy mount and a Lightning truggy center diff mount to make that work?

Also see the new D2 mount on RCM. Might it be better to get the D2 mount and a stock D2 center diff mount?
