That's an awesome buy! I can understand not running it, something that rare and almost impossible to get replacement parts is best as a model. Very expensive for something that'll just sit on the shelf, but I can think of far worse ways to spend the money. Get it finished and get some pics up!

All I ever wanted was an honest weeks pay for an honest days work.

I too think it would be sweet to make it BL. If there's room for all the nitro stuff, there's room for the motor/ESC/battery. Might not be the "ideal" battery, but if you're not gonna drive it anyway (and I don't blame you one bit), that's not really an issue.

Still, really sweet nonetheless!

Yes it is finished all it needs is a piant job done to the razor back body, the body is with a very good painter right now so I'm just waiting for it. It could be electrified but its just not needed for a shelf queen and the os max cv .18 looks pretty scale with the pipe sticking out the back. You know what would be killer though?...a custom made set of nerfs with the netting and footpegs!!!

Shelf-queens dont get used, they get looked at; this quad is a shelf queen.

Think of it as a static model, like those tamiya kits that are highly detailed models of real planes/tanks/cars etc- you wouldnt give them to your 5 year old to play with would you? No, you wouldnt, you'd give them that $5 diecast model to play with on the livingroom carpet.

93firebird and coolrunnings - play nice or get off my playground. The child's play that got blown out of proportion is unwanted and unnecessary.

Very nice build. Are you going to convert it?

he said no, read a lil......lol

a lil bolt in conversion would be cool so he could run it around in the house chasing the cat or dog or kids, then put the os back in for shelf duty
