Ok, here is the super pimp method of removing stubborn pan or cap head screws that may have stripped out. Take your dremel or small flat file (prefered over the dremel by me as it is more controlable) and put a flat on either side of the screw head. Then clamp this with you bench vise (if you do not have one consider it a well spent 30-40 bucks) and rotate the object that the screw is stuck in. I have had to do this with screws in tranny components and other small items that are difficult to hold, and vise grips are just not sturdy enough to hold properly.
