That's right, carbon fibre is not much lighter & in some cases the same weight as the original alloy component, but, is much more rigid.

Great for racing. Bashing..........hmmmmmm, the one I saw broken was used bashing & cracked across the middle where the front shocks are.

Stick to the alloy & save yourself some bucks. Better off spending that moula on batteries or a high quality motor.

Actually I have decided to stick w/the alloy chassis and buy the hybrid cases when Mike restocks them and use 1/8 diffs!
