If I'm not mistaken your batteries look like 2x2s maxamps 4k or 5k. They may not be up to the job.

I have mine basically like Arct1k does. The batt a bit more fwd helps with the weight distribution imo.
This was the intial setup w/ an XL and a MM. It now has a neu and a MMM. Plenty of room for either. I love this truggy. Its inexpensive, turns awesome, cheap to fix (if ever needed) and does quite well on the track.
