Here in Munich, about 1500m from where I live BMW has it's developement and parts of it's production. They have always about 2000 new cars just standing around and waiting for sale or delivery. So that's just normal here.

Yes, it's normal, but now it's just growing more and more. The port in Newark didn't have as many cars as it does now.

Yeah, you are right. They have to reduce the production and lower the price to get these thousands of cars nobody wants sold. Here in Germany there's now a program by the government that is called "Abwrackprämie". It means that you get 2500€ from the state if you buy a new car. This is a great success here, VW has sold 120.000 cars in Germany this single month. They've never sold nearly as many cars before.
